Iowa City author Ina Loewenberg was Joan
Kjaer's guest on "Know the Score" in
spring, 2004. Loewenberg wrote "The View from
Seventy" which looks at the life
experiences of more than 40 women, from various parts
of the world, who were all born in 1931. |

Our
May 9, 2003 Know the Score LIVE! included a discussion
of an innovative creative writing project at the Newton
Correctional Facility that brings together prisoners and
victims of crime. It is part of Iowa's restorative justice
program and in this segment of the show you hear participants
in the project, including inmates and the mother of a
murdered son, describe why they meet to share their thoughts
and writings. |
